This interview is the next installment in my series of interviews with local crafters.
I am delighted to introduce you to Gina aka InkBison. Gina and I were at school together but we have not seen each other for… well… more years than I care to remember! (Feeling old…!) So it was a lovely surprise to get an email from her about her brand new crafty project. It’s been an absolute pleasure interviewing her.

I am planning a series of interviews with local crafters at the moment so hopefully this will be the first of several. (Incidentally, if you are a Guernsey crafter interested in being featured on the iMake blog, please drop me a line). Lisa and Sarah are sisters that share a passion for craft. They formed Maggie and Mabel last year to share their gorgeous handmade creations with the world. They make a wide range of products and everything has a lovely, homely feel. Their products include cards, framed cross-stitch pictures, covered notebooks, blankets and (my personal favourite) jars of crafty bits and bobs with a pin cushion on the lid. Maggie and Mabel have very kindly offered to sponsor next month’s blog giveaway, so keep an eye out!

I have had a wonderful morning making jewellery out of PMC (precious metal clay) to sell in my Folksy shop. For anyone unfamiliar with PMC it is wonderful stuff. Check out the PMC Guild for more information. What follows is not a tutorial, as such, because I am a little nervous about empowering readers to arm themselves with blow torches! That said, if you do try it out, please be careful. Fire is hot and will burn you!

I am having a really creative weekend! This morning, I worked on my iMake shop packaging. Check out these pictures…

The boxes are for jewellery purchased from the iMake shop. I got them from an Etsy seller called Notable Notions. Each box is hand-stamped with my logo and contains an iMake mini card from Moo, as well as the purchased product.

I am rather excited! (Always a worry…) It took a while but my new necklace display bust arrived yesterday, along with some gorgeous little Kraft boxes for me to package my handmade jewellery in. So, at last, I have photographed the ceramic bead necklaces I blogged and podcast about ages ago (episode 1 or 2 of the podcast I think!)
Anyway, the necklaces will go on my Folksy shop shortly, but in the meantime here is a quick sneak preview. Hopefully my photography is improving but any advice or constructive comments would be gratefully received.
