This show is something of a mixed bag, hence the name! It has been a month since my last show and I have been getting up to all sorts. There is lots of knitting and a great deal of crafty chatter. This show features an interview with the lovely Isla, a new friend of the show, and we chat about handmade weddings. There is also some audio from me and hubby, recorded during our recent trip to the Channel Island of Jersey. This interview is the next installment in my series of interviews with local crafters. I am delighted to introduce you to Gina aka InkBison. Gina and I were at school together but we have not seen each other for… well… more years than I care to remember! (Feeling old…!) So it was a lovely surprise to get an email from her about her brand new crafty project. It’s been an absolute pleasure interviewing her.

I am planning a series of interviews with local crafters at the moment so hopefully this will be the first of several. They formed Maggie and Mabel last year to share their gorgeous handmade creations with the world. They make a wide range of products and everything has a lovely, homely feel. My lovely friend Charles (friend of the iMake podcast) sent me an odd tweet the other day asking if I wanted some baskets. A friend of his cleared out her loft. Don’t ask me why, but her loft was pretty much full of baskets. Knowing that Charles was a crafty sort, she offered them to him. He, being a generous fellow, offered to share them with me!
