I am having lots of fun with Instagram on my iPhone at the moment, as mentioned in this post. So this is a blog feature that you may see popping up fairly regularly. I plan to chose a few of my favourite Instagram shots and share them with you (as above). I feel a little disloyal to my lovely DSLR camera doing this, but the beauty of Instagram is that I always have my phone with me and I can make the pictures look reasonably pretty with the various effects available! There is also the instant sharing options that the app has that makes it so appealing… My iPhone will never replace my main camera, obviously. But this is a nice option to have for ‘spur of the moment’ shots.
The photos above are from yesterday. Charles (friend of the iMake podcast) and I hopped in the car and headed out to Torteval. Charles has just got a new (proper) camera and recently took a course in portrait photography. He wanted to try out his new skills. I am a terrible model and really don’t like having my picture taken, so I am not sure quite how I ended up modelling for him! It was a nice opportunity for me to try out my skills in portrait photography though, as I rarely have a willing model (apart from my cats) and Charles was game!
We recorded some audio while we were out for the next iMake podcast. So watch this space for the next episode and perhaps a few more photos…
