Cool Photography App

Tweeted5

I am the first to admit that I am mildly obsessed with my iPhone.  Despite being really interested in technology and reasonably up to date (I have to be in my job) I was a late adopter when it came to the iPhone.  Now I am not sure how I lived without it!

WIP

As regular blog readers will know, I am very interested in photography and love photographing my handcrafted items, as well as taking shots of my lovely island. I bought my first DLSR camera recently and use it all the time. For this reason, I have been a bit of a snob when it comes to using my iPhone camera. Why would use my phone to take an arty shot, when I have a proper, posh camera? That changed recently though, when I discovered an app called Camera+.

Shadow stole my chair

It’s brilliant! It costs just 69p in the iTunes store (I think it might be on sale at the moment) and it really adds some brilliant functions to your bog-standard iPhone camera.  There are some lovely effects and frames.  There is also a zoom, crop tool and image stabilisation thingie.  You can also add text to your photo.  The app integrates seamlessly with social networks too, so sharing your photos is really easy.

Whilst this 69p app is obviously no replacement for my DSLR, it’s a bit of fun.  And I rather like the way some of my shots look.  All of the photos on this blog post are taken with Camera+.

P.S. I have not been asked to review this app – I just wanted to share my thoughts!
